Summary
Wu Su was a demon born from chaos. Due to her low magical powers, she was often mistaken for an ordinary mortal. Nonetheless, she was content living as an average person, hidden in the bustling capital of the mortal world, working three jobs a day to support herself.
Later, due to an unexpected event, a night of revelry, she coincidentally ended up with a mortal husband.
Although he was just a mortal and their social statuses were vastly different, he was persistently attached to Wu Su. She didn’t understand romantic love and thought that she would wait for him to tire of her before leaving.
But one day, a celestial being came from the Immortal Island and spoke of her husband’s extraordinary talent for cultivation.
Wu Su thought, “Now he must be leaving, going to his world beyond the mortal realm, to cultivate his heartless path.” However, unexpectedly, her husband drove the celestial being away.
Wu Su was stunned for three days.
One night, he kissed Wu Su’s lips. His lips were cold, but his eyes burned with determination. Wu Su tilted her head, embraced him, and following the celestial being’s instructions, severed the emotional bond with her husband.
He forgot about her, and Wu Su left, continuing to live as an ordinary little monster, working three jobs a day.
Later on, Wu Su became involved in a big demon’s disturbance, wrongly accused as the instigator, and was captured by the cultivators from the Immortal Island.
Wu Su was brought before the ruler of the Immortal Island, the number one Sword Supreme in the world. She lowered her head and saw someone walking slowly towards her, wearing a simple and old sachet at his waist.
On the sachet were intertwined mandarin ducks, a gift that Wu Su had personally sewn for her husband a long time ago.
