BRIEF HISTORY
Nestled within the ancient Kingdom of Solastar, the oldest nation of the Solt people, is the capital city of Saria. During the reign of King Rasha IV of Solastar, he supported the Hars religion—founded by Hars Velia, who preached the sacredness of magic—and established the new Kingdom of Harsia. This kingdom long defended itself against invasions from the Empire of Balthe to the north and the Kingdom of Grandia to the south, building a prosperous history to the present-day Kingdom of Solzarand.
In recent years, the entire continent was engulfed in the Enea Continental War. Upon its conclusion, Solzarand has been promoting peace treaties among the nations of the Enea Alliance. As the alliance leader, it has since worked to eradicate the seeds of conflict across the continent.
Solzarand’s magical culture thrived—in contrast to its mechanical culture, which has been largely overlooked—as it drew from the teachings of the Hars religion and the abundance of individuals capable of using magic. In recent times, mechanical knowledge has started to flow in from Grandia and Attractia, yet magic still largely sustains the lives of the citizens.
Introduction to Major Landmarks
Saria — The capital of the Kingdom of Sorzaland. In its center are Follantia Castle and the Saria Magic Academy, with broad avenues stretching in the four cardinal directions. This city is the foremost magical hub in the country, with a magic library and the largest crossball stadium in the nation.
Trance — A bustling metropolis serving as a transit to the nation of Sofia to the east and a connecting city to the great nation of Grandia to the south. A railway runs through the center of the city, and compared to other areas of Solzarand, it has made significant advancements in mechanization.
Wayne — A connecting city for the northern nations like Balthe and Arianess. Even after the war, it continues to play a significant role within the military and has seen substantial development in its facilities, despite being a smaller city.
Telda — A connecting city of the nation of Wende to the south. It has maintained strong diplomatic relations with Wende, and not only traders but also tourists often travel to and from the city southward. One notable feature is the presence of another prominent magic academy, second only to Saria Magic Academy.
Lily — A rural town nestled in the Yurea mountains, famous for being the birthplace of Ciara Badvia.

MTL/N: King Elm V (エルム5世) here is actually inconsistent with his first named appearance in Part 1, which is King Elm the Sixth ( エルム六世). It’s also Elmyr-Sol in P1, not Sol-Haag. And I believe crossball is supposed to be soccer, though I’ve never heard of it referred to as such.
