Cornelia and Dekan didn’t immediately go elsewhere after being kicked out of the infirmary.
Although they had successfully explored it, Cornelia noticed Dekan’s expression. She knew that he was preparing for his next big move.
Dekan was standing outside the infirmary door, eavesdropping. Occasionally, he tried to observe the situation through the door crack. Meanwhile, Cornelia stood guard for him.
Screech! Screech!
Dekan heard the sharp and harsh sound of metal cutting saws coming from the infirmary from time to time. The demon doctor was cutting Baron Bacher’s flesh, muscles and bones with a sharp weapon.
The demon school nurse was currently subjecting Baron Bacher to a terrifying transformation. If the transformation succeeded, Baron Bacher might transcend close to sixth-tier.
Baron Bacher’s muffled cries of agony and the hum of metal sawing against his scales echoed intermittently.
After a while, Baron Bacher’s screams became louder and louder, until they turned into a miserable roar.
“Ahhhhh!! Why am I here?!”
Baron Bacher regained consciousness during the “transformation surgery” performed by the demon doctor. Although his brain was still in chaos, the pain caused by having his flesh and bones gradually removed made him regain consciousness.
He realized that he was no longer in the cooking classroom but had been brought to a place that was equally horrifying for a teacher.
“Hehe, Bacher, endure a little more, and you’ll become my masterpiece,” said the demon doctor. As he sewed magical creatures and metal components onto Bacher’s body, he deliberately acted roughly to stimulate his wounds.
This was the sadistic pleasure of the demon doctor. Not only did he dislike anesthetizing his patients but also tried to keep them awake.
“Stop it aaaah!”
Bacher couldn’t accept his once-elegant self now becoming the doctor’s terrifying experimental subject.
He found himself in a situation where he couldn’t escape, and his fear was suffocating him. A nightmare that he couldn’t escape.
He realised he had experienced pain far beyond what he was feeling now. The fear accompanying the pain pointed to something even more terrifying than the principal. However, he couldn’t recall the appearance of that terrifying entity, as if his brain’s self-preservation mechanisms were blocking his memory.
Bacher desperately pleaded with the demon school nurse, “Please, let me go! You’ve fallen into their trap! You can still escape now!”
The demon school nurse replied with a mocking tone, “Hehe, Bacher, don’t talk nonsense. I brought you here to treat you according to school rules. You can’t blame me.”
The demon school nurse paid no attention to Bacher and continued to revel in his work.
“You are violating the rules!! How could I take the initiative to come to your place!” Bacher seemed to have thought of something and shouted in panic.
“It was two students who brought you here. I didn’t kidnap you.” The demon school nurse grinned slyly.
“Two students… Ahhh!”
Bacher seemed to recall something and his memory became clearer, causing him to scream in agony, his voice incredibly miserable.
This pleased the demon school nurse immensely, and he was very satisfied with Bacher’s state. He began to cut with his tools even more quickly.
Several tens of minutes passed, and inside the infirmary, Bacher’s screams reached their peak.
Dekan felt that it was about time.
Regardless of whether he was alive or dead, the transformation should have reached its final stage, and there should be a result by now.
“Cornelia, remember the escape route.” Dekan spoke gently.
Cornelia nodded seriously. She had been carefully studying the map Dekan had drawn.
Dekan added, “Be mindful of the noise ahead.”
Cornelia covered her ears and replied, “Yeah.”
Then, outside the infirmary, Dekan summoned the ruined poet.
“Pain! So painful!” exclaimed the poet.
In an instant, black mist filled the corridor and even seeped into the infirmary.
“Ah ah ah—” echoed the fragmented and distorted screams from inside the infirmary, which startled the demon doctor. He hadn’t particularly inflicted a lot of pain just now.
“Huh? What’s this black mist?” The demon doctor looked surprised at the spreading black fog on the floor.
He also noticed that Baron’s unusual agony seemed to be connected to the black mist.
“It! It’s him!” Baron Bacher finally remembered the fear of being dominated by the black mist at this moment. He also recalled the demon standing in the black mist.
It was the most terrifying demon he had ever seen. It toyed with him in the palm of its hand, it endlessly tortured him, and it shattered his sanity.
As the pain in his body and the fear in his heart reached their peaks at the same time, something in Bacher’s mind seemed to shatter into pieces.
“Ahhhh! Hahaha!”
Baron Bacher began to laugh maniacally, crying, and screaming.
He looked upward, his eyes bloodshot, his body continued to swell and he roared.
A force far more terrifying than anything he had experienced before erupted from him, breaking free from the operating table’s restraints and lunging at the demon doctor.
A horrifying crash echoed from the infirmary and reverberated in the hallway. Bacher had gone completely berserk, or rather, he had gone completely insane.
“Bacher, chill! I’m just following the rules! I have the principal’s approval!” The demon doctor struggled to restrain the now-irrational Bacher and shouted in panic.
Bacher, however, seemed to pay no heed to him, ruthlessly attacking him.
Meanwhile, outside the infirmary, Dekan had already recalled the ruined poet and, along with Cornelia, ran with their lives on the line.
“Baron Bacher’s evolved incorrectly. Bacher is in confusion!” Dekan muttered words that Cornelia couldn’t understand. [1]
Cornelia noticed that Dekan wasn’t afraid of Baron Bacher’s rampage at all. In fact, he seemed quite pleased, indicating that all was according to plan.
The two of them hid around the corner of the hallway and waited for a while.
Suddenly, a three-meter-tall monster burst out of the infirmary. Baron Bacher no longer resembled a human; he had a few scars on his body, and he was currently chewing and swallowing the demon doctor.
Roar!
It echoed down the hallway, filled with despair and confusion. After his fiery rage, all Baron could feel was an overwhelming sense of emptiness and confusion.
Aiya!
Just then, a small figure appeared in Baron Bacher’s field of view. This small figure was standing at the end of the hallway, swaying. It had a mocking smile on its face.
“Hey hey hey, come over here!” It had a playful yet strangely intelligent voice. As Baron’s gaze fixed on the small figure in the distance, he began to tremble.
The small figure was a half-meter-tall doll. It had a cute and chubby body, and its face was… a chibi version of Dekan!
The doll’s face was round and adorable, and it wore a smug grin.
“Hahaha, come closer!” It spoke with a tone of mockery. As Bacher’s focus completely shifted to the small figure in the distance, he started to shiver.
It was a small humanoid doll half a meter tall.
Its body shape is round and cute.
And the face of the doll…
It’s chibi Dekan!
